Anita Petway

Ms. Anita Petway comes to MTBM with over 12 years of service helping people with disabilities whether mental or physical find competitive employment. She serves as a speaker at vocational workshops which focus on job readiness training, job coaching, job development, job retention and counseling. She holds certifications in Youth Mental Health First Aid Training, Customer Service Excellence, Human Resource Training and management training with a focus on supporting and serving youth with significant disabilities.
Ms. Petway is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Psychology. Additionally, she serves as a volunteer within the community assisting women and children that reside in transitional housing by mentoring and advocating on their behalf.
My passion for helping those around me has speared from my background of service. I have over 12 years of service with helping those who have a disability, whether mental or physical, find competitive employment. My success rate is 93%. I have conducted workshops across Wake County, North Carolina, which was conducive to offering job readiness training, job coaching, job development/retention and counseling. I am certified in Youth Mental Health First Aid Training and hold certifications in Customer Service Excellence, HR Training, Management Training to include Supporting and Serving Youth with Significant Disabilities.
Outside of the office, I’m a student studying for my Masters in Psychology. I’m a license Cosmetologist, a seamstress, a mother of 3-sons and an avid tennis player. I volunteer in the community and help service women and children who are less fortunate, living in transitioning housing, by mentoring and servicing.
